Wow! Busy busy month. Started of course at Waynesboro Va. for a few weeks in Brads area. Fun month. Spent quite a bit of time with brad and his family which was so good. Had an incident with our electrical plug on the outside of the camper that got hot and melted the plastic around the plug. fortunately, at mobile fix it place came and replaced plug the next day. so fortunate that it was discovered and fixed as another camper a short distance from us had a fire and the lady died the next day. so sad.
We went to the Outer Banks with brad and family for a couple of days and stayed at her aunts beach house to celebrate bretts 11th birthday. Went out for crab and lobster on night and a seafood festival while there along with walks on the beach. Tropical storm came ashore while we were thaere and brought with it a boat load of rain.
After leaving Waynesboro we went to Mt Airy NC and stayed at the Mayberry campground. Home of Andy Griffith. Fun little town and the campground was one of the best we have stayed at.
Left there and started the journey south again and found a campground in Pensacola Fl. where we stayed for 5 nights. Went to the beach for a day and then reviewed a couple of campgrounds in the area for a possible stay next Nov. It rained a lot while we were there. A lot!
Now at Gulf shores state park for the month of nov. in site #12 Beautiful! Going to see big earl and the sexual biscuits tonight. supposed to be a fun show., Jan and Phil Schlegel that we met last year in Los Fresnos are staying in the campground here also so we have reconnected with them. Jo and Dave Peterson that we also met last winter will be coming for a few days.

And we made it safely to Waynesboro VA. Good traffic, nice campgrounds along the way and only one incident with the camper. We somehow managed to turn the battery off and the frig wouldn't run. After a few phone calls to camper repair shops who could not look at the issue anytime soon, I messaged the RV Bunch and someone told us to check the battery off/on switch. sure enough that was the problem. so thankful that was all. Otherwise all went well.
We stopped at Kevin's for 2 nights and helped with Kendalls 9th birthday party. Took off on a Monday morning and got to southern Ill. before stopping for the night. Next day we stopped in franfort ky and stayed 2 nights and went touring at the ARK ENcounter and Buffalo Trace distillery before leaving KY and then stopped in Dawson WV for a night. . We got to brads area on Friday and are staying at Waynesboro North 340 campground for 2 weeks.
Mallory had her baby shower on Saturday. she had a good turnout and received many nice gifts. Its been a busy week and I am ready to relax a bit.
