June 9th 2021
we have been home for over 6 weeks already. busy busy time. havent gotten together with as many friends and family as i would have liked but everyone is busy. randy and deb stopped over one night for a bit and happened to be here the same time as eric was here so they got to visit with him also. wanda came for a visit and a walk so that was fun.we had mom and uncle jack over for dinner along with joel and karen on evening. was good to get together. did some cleaning for mom but throwing things away is too stressful for her and me so i think it is time to give that up. cindi, karen mom and i went for pedicures and lunch for mothers day and that was a lot of fun. got the garden in and it is doing ok. having trouble getting lettuce to grow this yr. planted 3 times and basically nothing...strange. spinach is doing poorly also. eating radishes and a bit of spinach at this time and should be able to rob potatoes by the end of the month. after a very cold May, we are now sweltering in 90 plus degree heat for the last week and no relief in sight..air conditioning is running full blast daily.
eric, heather, breanna, dalton, wade, kevin, aprill, payton and kendall along with tom and i went to the cabin for 5 days last week. lots of corn hole, cribbage and mexican train played. fun time getting together.

spent a day powerwashing the deck, shed and picnic table. now time to paint
and we are going to be great grandparents.... breanna is due in January
wade took 2nd at state in shotput! (montanna)
had a fun night catching up with bob and shirley ericson at the prime for pizza while we were at the cabin. old old friends
joel and karen brought mom and jack up to the cabin one day while we were at the cabin
