check out the "model" between  beth and i . she looked so real and we all figured we would look like her some day

the views from our campsite in GS. amazing.

after leaving brads area we went to Pigeon Forge Tn for a few days. way busy! then we headed for Atmore Al to a casino campground. OHhh i was in heaven. fun casino. Windcreek casino. campground was $28 a night. we were in a site #7. great tv and wi fi there. found a good ol boys bar somewhere in Atmore. confederate flag hanging from ceiling and bullet holes in the walls. table of men sitting around and truly could not understand a word they said.

after leaving atmore we headed to gulf shores state park. #12. $963 for the month. love the park but they raised their rate again for next year and at $1163 they are starting to price themselves out of our price point. love love love the bike trails. saw lots of wildlife this year. made new friends Rob and Judy from california and Scott and Gail from watertown sd. fun people. got together with them, todd and beth and jan and phil almost every day for happy hours and occasional meals. 13 of us got together for thanksgiving. food was amazing.! went to some of our favorite haunts in GS like Papa Rocco's, and Tacky Jacks in Orange beach and GS. The other ladies and myself went to Fairhope Al for a day. fun town with lots of little shops to poke thru. got rearended by a young lady one night on the way home from our new favorite place the Beachhouse. we will be needing to get a new bumper. she had more damage to her car i think. her mom wants to try and pay without going thru insurance. we will see how that goes.

now in Lake Panasoffkee Fl. at Lake Pan RV park. site #40. $639 a month plus electric. cable is good. wifi ok. Our canadian friend Laurie is joining us for the winter and shes a couple spots down. beth and todd are next to us. our sites are really close together. feel bad for them as the space out our front door  is much larger than theirs.

we have spent a little bit of time exploring some of the area. found a bar/grill close by that has occasional bands which we listened to last weekend. some old friends that we met the first 2 yrs in florida want to get together while we are here. so that should make for some fun.

we have left brads area and headed south ish to Pigeon Forge Tn. whew! what a busy busy area. it can take hours to get from Seiverelle to Gatlinburg. too crazy for us. Mill Creek Rv Resort was ok. ( #67, $51 a night) . Cable was good. wifi was in and out. it did have a trolley pickup at the campground which was a blessing as we didn't want to drive in town any more than we had too. took a trolley tour one day and got a lay of the land, then spent a day at Dollywood. it was nice but not as nice as Disney World. her rides consist of rollercoasters. shows were ok to see. wouldn't go back. spent a day at smokey mountain np. busy busy busy! took a easy hike and attempted to do another but the traffic was just too crazy for us. so we headed back to the campground. we were going to leave on monday but the weather was predicted to be bad so we stayed an extra day. did nothing that day. tues we left and started towards Atmore Al. i was dreading Chattanoga tn  but for a change it was decent driving thru. got as far as Gadsen Al and decided to stop for 2 nights. stayed at the Cove rv park, #24 $39 a night with good sams.
