 Enjoyed the day yesterday kayaking down the Rainbow River near Dunnellon Fl. Beautiful crystal clear river. Tom saw a small alligator and we also saw river otters playing in the river and a lot of turtles. Weather has continued to be in the mid to upper 70's and even a few 80's. Love it. It is raining today, but according to the weatherman this area is having a rain shortage. We went to the Seminole casino on Saturday and lost money in a hurry so did not stay long. We won't be going back. Then took a drive up the gulf coast, stopping at Red Lobster for dinner. Thank you HAMH ER group for the gift card, we loved the meal!

We are the proud new owners of 2 kayaks! We are hoping to enjoy the waterways around us on our travels. Tom also wants to fish with his. Hopefully, we will be eating bass tomorrow night. He has the neighbor Fred talked into fishing with him. They should have a good time. We took out the kayaks yesterday for their virgin run. We had a good time on the Withlacoochee River, well except for the possible gators that we were told could be around. We did not see any tho. Every day seems to go faster than the last and we are constantly busy. Too busy to work as I used to hear my newly friends say and now I can agree. I have been retired now for 2 months and can honestly say that I do not miss working in the least!

we had lots of help from the neighbors installing a Steadyfast stabilizing system to help eliminate some of the shaking from movement inside the camper. I would say that it has reduced it by at least 75%. took 5 hours but they got it done. the women made a great observation crew

A fantabulous day kayaking on the Crystal River in Crystal River. Seeing the manatees we absolutely amazing! We rented a two person kayak and we loved it! The river was nice and calm and a great first venture for tom. We followed up with a lunch at Cody's Roadhouse and their food prices were amazing. $2.89 for a 1/3# burger and fries! Buy one beer and get the second free. We will be back!
